Goals/Mission

Goals/Mission: To Accurately and efficiently test, diagnose and repair electronic equipment.

PC Tech Department Activities May Include:

  • Sorting, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, repairing, and inventorying, computers, laptops, servers, phones, tablets and other electronic equipment.
  • Communicate Effectively with customers and other business departments
  • Coordinate with other departments and customers
  • Testing for working versus non-working equipment
  • Sorting equipment/component by brand, model, part number, age, functionality, or type
  • Sorting by disassembly strategy (e.g., into equipment type for manual or automated deep disassembly)
  • Sorting and/or testing for whole units for resale and/or refurbishment
  • Sanitation: Removal of storage media, asset tags and identifying marks from incoming equipment
  • Value Check: Determine if an item will be kept or scrapped
  • Maintain a 95% or better accuracy rating on all tested equipment
