How to Process

Check the item and remove asset tags
Check and remove storage media
- Some PCIe SSD adapters may have an M.2 drive installed. Remove it.
Check for bad caps.
Use the brand and model
- Video Card
  - Use the manufacturer’s brand for value check, like EVGA, Zotec, MSI, ASUS
  - Use the model over part number for value check, like Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, Radeon 6800XT, Quadro P2000
- For other cards, compare the OEM brand and part number and the manufacturer’s brand and model, and use whichever provides more results.
Value Check the item
- Value check for parts if
  - The card has a seized fan.

Item Type Specific
- RAID card
  - Some of the RAID cards are sold at a high price because they are flashed with IT mode. Make sure you choose the listing without the IT mode.
- PGA 370 to Slot 1 CPU adapter
  - This type of adapter will automatically pass to eBay.
- Video Card/Sound Card/Network card
  - Value check as “Pre-owned.”
- Other cards are removed from a machine
  - Value check as “Pre-owned.”
  - Leave a note about which machine the card was removed from.
- Other cards come in loose.
  - Value check as “For Parts.”
  - Leave a note stating that the card came in loose.
Note
- Leave a note for any defects.
