Value Check the item

  • Value check the low-grade and mid-grade circuit board as “Pre-owned” condition.
  • Value check the telecom module and power board as “For Parts” condition.
  • Scrap Rules: The base scrap limit is $30. However, the scrap limit for some items varies based on size and salability. If any dimensions of the module are over 17″, it must be sold with shipping for over $100; otherwise, the item will be scrapped
  • Use the listing with the same condition as the one on hand.

Item Specific

  • When value checking a module from a chassis:
    • Include the chassis if a module is a CPU module.
    • The chassis itself has value.
    • Include chassis if the module has been sold for $200 or more used, in the same condition.
    • If the chassis is not to be included, note that the module is removed from the chassis due to size or weight. That way, if it appears we could test the item, it is known that the chassis may still be around.
    • If there is no chassis, the module came in loose, a note along the lines of module came in loose or no chassis with module.

Note

  • For a part or module. Leave a note indicating which unit the module/part was removed from, or if it came in loose.
  • Please note any discrepancies between the listing and the item on hand.
  • Leave a note if the price is converted.

Extra

  • Some module with VGA ports can be post-tested. The eBay team will be testing these items. Leave a note if the hard drive was or wasn’t removed.
  • Include the chassis if a module needs to be post-tested.
