How to Process

• Check the machine and remove asset tags

• Storage media

  • Leave the hard drive in the unit if the item passed the value check.

• Value Check

  • Scrap Rules: The base scrap limit is $30; however, based on the size and salability, some items have different scrap limits. All rack-mountable network equipment(Any dimensions over 17″ without rack ears)  must sell with shipping for over $100; otherwise, the item will be scrapped
  • Make sure the listing P/N exactly matches the item on hand. eBay will often ignore dashes or backslashes; they’ll also show random items, so it’s important to make sure the correct item is selected.
  • We will not list the unit with hard drives; look for the listing without hard drives.
  • Choose the listing condition ‘Parts Only’ first. If there are only ‘Pre-Owned’ listings, convert the price.

  • Leave a note if the price is converted.

  • Keep:
