Scrap Rules: The base scrap limit is $30; however, the scrap limit for some items varies based on size and salability. Any item with a dimension over 17 inches must be sold with shipping priced over $100; otherwise, the item will be scrapped.
Make sure the listing P/N exactly matches the item on hand. eBay will often ignore dashes or backslashes; it’ll also display random items, so it’s essential to ensure the correct item is selected.
Do not use a listing that includes more than a 30-day warranty. Some seller will include a one-year or more warranty with their item; try to avoid these items. However, if that is the only item available, use it. The QCer will evaluate if the item should be kept.
If there is only one listing available for use, notate the difference.

When value checking a chassis with modules:
- Include the chassis if a module is a CPU module.
- The chassis itself has value.
- Include chassis if the module has sold for $200 or more used, in the same condition.
- If the chassis is not to be included, note that the module is removed from the chassis due to size or weight. That way, if it appears we could test the item, it is known that the chassis may still be around.
- If there is no chassis, the module came in loose, a note along the lines of module came in loose or no chassis with module.

Note

For a part or module. Leave a note about which unit the module/part was removed from, or if it came in loose.
Leave a note for any difference between the listing and the item on hand.
Leave a note if the price is converted.
