How to Bag & Tag
- Sort cables by type. Place Multiple Wires/Cables in Designated Presort Vessels by your workstation, when the bag is full, label the bag and place the entire bag in the matching Gaylord or NFM tote.
- Don’t spend too much time untangling, if it’s too tangled (requiring more than 10mins to untangle) treat it as mixed wire.
- For Mixed and tangled wire, Keep An Eye Out For Special Cables With Part Number Labels, value check those.
- Scrap power cables with European plugs. Extension cables go to Scrap: mixed wires.
- If cables are mixed with an AC adapter, separate the good laptop adapters, cut off the remaining AC adapter, put in the scrap AC adapter, and wire in the scrap mixed wire.
