• Use a plastic tote for small items. Make sure items in the tote are neatly stacked to avoid damage.
• Remove or mark off the old label when using a tote.

• Leave a note if the storage box is the same brand as the internal item. “Outside box is for storage only.” For example, a set of toners was placed in a same-brand toner box for storage, and a note is needed.
• Any item that is valued for parts but only has pre-owned sales. “Average sold ~$x preowned, our item for parts”
• If there are multiple large parts of an item that are value-checked together but cannot be placed in the same container or taped together, leave a note clearly indicating that another part of the item is in the eBay vessel.

Put away

• If there were the same items from a different tech, put them together as much as possible.
• If a box has a ‘Value Check’ label, add additional labels when placing different items inside.

Feedback to the AR team lead

• Record all errors found during QC. Give them to the AR team lead by the end of the day.

• If the item is only sold brand new, check the main part of the item value to help determine the value of the item on hand.
• If an item is not found on eBay, try different ways to see if a similar item is available on eBay
  • Delete the brand in the search bar to see if the item is listed with another brand or no brand
  • Search the brand only to see if a similar unit with the same brand is listed on eBay to help you determine the price for the item.

For an item that has a wide price range, choose the listing with the same condition as a reference to determine whether the item is scrap or keep.

• Put heavy items at the bottom of the speedpack and lightweight items on top. If the lightweight item goes in first, just move it up every time you put a heavy item in.+

• If only a few listings have been sold, check the active listing to see the item’s current value. (Does not apply to the PC or motherboard. )

• Check the trending price on eBay to see if the item is good for listing. (Sort by Ended Recently)
• For Cisco items, beware of software and warranty; a lot of listings like to provide software or longer warranty, which we can’t compete with.
• For the Cisco server, if the server comes with one CPU and a small amount of RAM, that means the setup for the server is low-end.

• If only a few listings have been sold, check the active listing to see the current value of the item.
• If there are only active listings, check the item for the time being listed. If an item has been listed under $100 or less over a year, scrap it.
• If the item’s average price sold for more than $200 individually, Put it on the hot pallet.
