There are 3x Garage doors at this warehouse that can be opened and used throughout the day. Following these steps will insure you use the garage doors properly to avoid injury on the job.

The 2x front garage doors are manually operated. The user will have to unlock and push the door open by hand. Similarly the user will have to manually close the door. When opening the door; make sure the rope is not wrapped around something or someone. Unlatch the door and push in a upward direction. If you push the door too hard it will bounce off the springs at the top. This is not a problem, just something to be mindful of it the door starts coming back down. Always keep your eye on the door as it is opening and closing to catch and issues before they become a problem. And to make sure no one is in the path of the door.
To close the door; grab the rope and pull in a downward motion. Before doing so; verify that the path is clear of any objects. When the door hits the ground; put your foot on the edge to hold it down and push the latch in to the locked position.

The drop off garage door has an electric door opener that is controlled with a remote that is mounted on the wall next to the door.

To open and close this door; simply press the Open or Close buttons, respectively. This is not an automatic door, so you must hold the button down until it is to the desired position. The remote also has a stop button that should be used if the door is out of control or if someone is in the pathway of the door.
Always verify that the path of the door is clear; whether that be person or object. The door closing on any object can damage the door and cause harm to anyone near by.
While operating the garage door; you are responsible for the health and safety of any person within the vicinity of the door. It is especially important to be mindful of the position of customers while closing the door. For best practice; only close the door after the customer has returned to their vehicle. Never close the door while they are actively putting items into the recycling bins. Even if its cold outside; the health and safety of our customers is paramount.
