• Monitors will be placed face-to-face in the Gaylord
• Attach the label to the back edge of the monitor
• Never put a label on the front or cover the manufacturer’s label or ports
• Put cardboard down before starting a new layer in Gaylord
• Lay down the top layer of LCD monitors so the vessel will not be overfilled.

• Attach label directly on an inconspicuous part, e.g, the bottom of the item (best practice)
• Do not throw in a scrap vessel; put it in nicely.
• Remove the stand, and cut off the cord.

• If the Monitor has a broken housing, choose a cracked LCD, then scrap it.
• How to identify a TV? The TV has an antenna port.
• For LCD monitors, go to #1082 LCD MONITORS TO BE TESTED, and place them face-to-face to avoid a cracked screen.
• When starting a new layer, put cardboard between layers.
• When an LCD monitor comes with a human-scale monitor arm, remove the mount plate from the LCD monitor.
• For Dell, if the model ends with HT. For example, the “Dell P2424HT” is a touchscreen monitor. 
• Value check medical grade monitors by using the All Other Item category.
• How to identify a Medical Grade Monitor?
  • Most Common brands: Braco, Siemens, Ezio, Stryker
  • The monitor was removed from the medical equipment.
  • If not sure, ask your supervisor
  • Sold under $100 will go to #1082
  • Sold for $100 or more will pass on for QC.
