Perform a deep clean of your workbench every Friday going forward. Spend the last 30 minutes of Friday cleaning and organizing your work space.
Trash papers that have pilled up during the week. Scrap knick-knack’s that you have accumulated.
Put your tools back where they belong.
Sweep under and around your bench.
If you borrowed tools for the community bins, now is the time to put them back so that others can use them when needed.
Cleanup work area at the end of shift
Cleanup work area at the end of shift, your assigned area or temp work area, regardless. No reason a workstation should look like the one above at the end of the shift. The I dont care attitude shown above is not welcome here.
Consolidate Trash Cans
Every Friday at the end of the shift, Empty out your trashcan into one of the large trash cans in the warehouse and take the big bag out to the dumpster in the parking lot.
